Dr. Li Rui
Dr Li graduated from China Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Shandong Medical University. She has both a Master degree in Chinese Traditional Medicine and a Western Medical Bachelor Degree. She was trained by Dr. Zhao RuiHua (Head of Academic Learning from GuanAnMen Hospital) and Professor Li GuangRong, the most renowned senior TCM physician in China. She was also one of the inheriting disciples of Professor ZhangJin, the world famous acupuncturist.
Dr Li was attending physician and clinical teaching instructor at Xinhua Hospital affiliated with Shanghai Second Medical University (one of the top hospitals in China). During her practices, she also advanced her medical studies at LongHua Hospital affiliated with Shanghai Traditional Chinese Medicine University, participating in research of integrating traditional Chinese and western medicine for the treatment of infertility. She achieved mastery through a comprehensive study of the subject and accumulates substantial clinical experience.
Since arriving in Singapore, Dr. Li has engaged in the specialty of TCM for more than a decade. She is a qualified TCM physician and acupuncturist licensed by the Singapore Ministry of Health TCM Practitioners Board. She founded Shanghai Chinese Medicine Centre in 2002. Her thesis was published on a prestigious academic website (中国知网 www.cnki.net) in China. Among the many different illnesses that are treated at the clinic, Dr. Li focuses on women and children health. She specializes in treatment for menstrual pain, hormone imbalances, infertility, menopause and other gynecological disorders. Her specific skills and experience in treating children illness has earned her a reputation in this field. She has also successfully treated thousands of people who suffered from medical conditions such as high blood pressure, diabetics, rheumatoid arthritis, slipped disc, acute lumbar muscle sprain, cervical vertebrae syndrome. By using acupuncture and herbal diet, she helps patients overcome problems such as obesity, smoking, skin issues, to name a few.
Dr. Li writes for newspapers and magazines in recent years, contributing her immense knowledge to the public about TCM health diet. Her goal is to raise the awareness of health as well as improve the quality of life through TCM treatment.
